EXTERIOR
This super low mileage facelift E46 presents immaculately in Sparkling Graphite Metallic. The paintwork is absolutely first-rate throughout, with a deep and uniform shine across every panel. At the front end there’s hardly a stone chip in sight and the headlights remain crystal clear. The electric black soft-top is also pristine. Being an M Sport model the car boasts sleeker, more aerodynamic front and rear bumpers, side skirts, and slightly lowered suspension for an overall more commanding presence. This has to be one of the cleanest examples we’ve seen.
INTERIOR
In keeping with the exterior, the airy cabin is also particularly sharp. The Montana leather upholstery retains a soft textured finish and is free from any signs of major wear. Commonly marked areas such as the centre console trim and switchgear are all in great shape. Everything works just as it should including the air conditioning, which has recently been recharged. The spotless carpets are protected in the footwells by a set of genuine BMW overmats in black.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Barely run-in with only 24k miles on the clock, the 320Ci’s 2. 2-litre straight six offers effortlessly smooth driving with just enough grunt for when you need to get a shift on. The 5-speed automatic transmission is a perfect match, boasting almost undetectable gear changes.
On closer inspection the engine bay is still remarkably clean with no signs of any damage or poor repair to report. The car has always been well maintained with services carried out at the following mileages: 4, 872 – 9, 586 – 14, 841 – 19, 714 – 20, 800 – and most recently at 23, 695 miles in November 2020. Since arriving with us the car has been fully inspected for the new keeper’s peace of mind.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
The factory 18-inch M Double Spoke alloy wheels are all in great condition with only very minor age-related marking to speak of. They are shod in a matching set of Hankook tyres fitted in November 2020 little over 1k miles ago. The brakes have also just been checked and remain in fine operational condition, pulling the car to a halt swiftly and in a straight line.
HISTORY FILE
This stunning example was first registered in May 2006. It was supplied new by Buchanan BMW on the Isle of Man; the original dealer rear window sticker and key fobs are all still present. The accompanying History File is complete with the BMW document pack, owners’ manuals, spare remote key, spare valet key, and a raft of BMW and specialist maintenance invoices. The car was last serviced at 23k miles in November 2020 with new tyres fitted all round. Freshly inspected and recently MOT’d, she’s good to go!
