Here for sale is this 2001 Volvo S80 T6 SE 2. 8 twin turbo. It has a current mot until March 2022 and has covered just 100k miles.
I bought this from an elderly gent who had owned it since 2004, from 2001-04 it was a company vehicle and it covered nearly all of its miles during this time. Over the next 16 years it covered less than 1500 miles a year. According to the paperwork it wore the private registration '3 RRO' for many years.
The car is in very good all round condition, the paintwork is in great shape and really gleams when polished. The previous owner lived on a golf course so there are a few small dents that look suspiciously close to the size of a golf ball. Thankfully they are not too numerous or noticeable and I'm pretty sure these could be removed by a paintless dent specialist without too much trouble.
The interior is in excellent condition and is a lovely place to be. The S80 was the flagship of the Volvo range and as such the car has plenty of creature comforts such as climate control (ice cold air con recently re-gassed), cruise control etc. The seats are really comfortable and the leather is hardly worn.
Mechanically, the car has a stamped service history up to 80k. The car has just had the timing belt and associated parts replaced in April at a well respected Volvo specialist in Birmingham. It drives superbly, the gearbox (geartronic auto) works as it should with smooth gearchanges. With 268 BHP on tap the car can reach 60mph in 7. 2 seconds and has a top speed of 155mph.
A VW camper van purchase (to enable a much needed holiday) has prompted an unexpected sale, I have decided to use the van as my sole mode of transport.
