This wonderful tornado red Audi 80 B3 1. 8S was originally purchased in June 1991 from Phillip Mist (Audi) of Sutton Coldfield, and has had only 2 families own this car until my purchase in late 2017.
The car has PAS, electric windows and mirrors, factory fitted tilt and slide sunroof, central locking and procon ten safety system.
It still has its original tool kit, original Audi floor mats, the original dealer number plates and original dealer window stickers.
The car has been meticulously maintained and has had a new cam-belt, radiator, 4 premium tyres, heater matrix, battery, rear lamp harness, coolant hoses, all oils (including gearbox) and filters changed. Reliability has been improved by using denso high performance spark plugs, custom made high performance leads, and using a k&n air filter. I believe this has improved performance slightly without effecting it's originality.
It also comes with loads of service history, manuals, service book with 14 stamps, two keys, log book and original bill of sale and the manufactures print out. Mot is until Nov 2021 with no advisories.
This great car drives really well with no known engine, or transmission faults, and it has never let me down. This car is very capable of driving long journeys. When I lived in Cumbria I would often travel to Shepton Mallett Somerset, for a car show, and yearly to "Audi's in the Park" in Northamptonshire, without any problems.
The bodywork is rust free, and it's really good for its age, the tornado red paint hasn't faded and is still rich. Its not perfect, but its now 30 years old with it's original paintwork. Any marks are hard to see unless pointed out on close inspection. The only slight niggle I'm aware of is the rear screen heater only works with the lights on, but as I only use it the summer, it never has bothered me.
This amazing car is stored correctly in a heated garage over the winter months on sorn, and only comes out again in the summer for car shows, and fine weather drives.
It's a very honest, reliable, original, a wonderful time warp car, which has done only 54, 000 warrantied miles, with history. Last time I looked there was only possibly 6, Audi 80 1. 8 S's registered in 1991 left in UK. Prices can only go up when a car is this good. Must be one of the best and most original Audi 80 B3 1. 8S in the country a true collectors car.
I'm only selling this car due to the fact that i feel i have done my job by preserving a wonderful part of modern classic Audi history, and it's now time for me to work on another.
