Here we have for sale our stunning Ducati 748R in Giallo Yellow. Our UK bike is the earlier Mk 1 example of the limited 748R run which are now getting extremely difficult to find in this colour.
The bike we offer is a July 2001 model having covered just 958 miles from new and is fitted with Brembo brakes, Marschesini wheels, and also benefits from having had the Ohlins front and rear suspension upgrade and a Termignoni exhaust system fitted.
The 748R is supplied with the original book pack and a host of paperwork including MOT certificates that verify the bikes mileage. It will also receive a full belt service and 12 months MOT prior to sale.
The 748R was Ducati's racing homologation model produced in very limited numbers. This engine was a derivative of the SPS model but with more tuning. The main difference was that the R model had an overhead shower-injector arrangement, titanium connecting rods, titanium valves and more extreme valve timing. As such, the 748R had a larger, two-part airbox and thus the frame was also different in order to accommodate this.
