What turned out to be the last of Douglas range, the Dragonfly was a redesign of an older model. The engine had a stronger crankcase, single carb, alternator electrics and coil ignition. The frame had Girling dampers that replaced the torsion bar set up and the old radiadraulic front fork was dropped in favour of a leading link front end. Although it didn’t have the speed of some of the competition at the time it was said to handle well, be extremely comfortable and had good fuel consumption.
This is a project motorcycle and is offered as seen. The correctness, condition and completeness of the items within this lot are for the prospective purchaser to assess prior to bidding.
