Here at Fairmont we are proud to offer not one but two examples of the BMW Alpina B3 S. This beautiful, 3-owner, low-mileage convertible example is finished in excellent silver with contrasting black leather interior with a walnut trim. It comes with a black factory hardtop roof and the soft-top option, both are in excellent order and fully operational.
This rare E46-shape Alpina is now a striking modern classic and offers luxury, exclusivity and individuality at a good value, compared to the significantly more common M3. This Alpina boasts a 306bhp 3. 4-litre straight-six, which is coupled to a five-speed ZF automatic transmission with Alpina’s Switch-Tronic shift buttons. An excellent list of factory fitted options include air-con, heated electric memory seats, cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system and automatic Xenon lights.
The interior, paintwork and bodywork, are all in excellent overall condition and are very true to car’s low ownership and low-mileage of 46, 000 miles. Whilst it is very hard to fault this car, if we were to be critical the driver’s seat and bolsters do show small signs of wear and the centre cap badges could do with being replaced which we can source upon a sale.
The car is supplied with all MOTs, original manuals and the original service book showing the last entry at 35, 000 miles. Further to this many invoices and receipts for servicing and maintenance show the car has been well looked throughout its life with a service and many works carried out in 2020.
