This car is an absolute gem; built in the Marlin Factory in 1997 it was taken off the road for a rebuild several years later. The chassis was blasted and powder coated then every piece refurbished or replaced. The original ford engine was professionally replaced with a 6000 mile BMW e30 straight 6 engine with 5 speed box. It is mechanically new and barely run in and sounds amazing! New tyres all round, a bespoke stainless exhaust which sounds wonderful, new fuel filters and pumps, every bush replaced, the list is endless! The rear suspension is Ford Sierra and the front is Marlin's own with the addition of adjustable TCAs and compression struts so you should be able to set the geometry to suit your driving style.
The beautiful dark blue coachwork retains patina including burgundy edged carpets and hood, and inside there are dark blue carpets with burgundy piping. Smart red leather seats and door cards match the refreshed cabin area and a complement of CAI gauges inform the driver of what is going on. The rest has been sympathetically updated with no expense spared. Huge history folder shows the work done. With a fresh mot until July next year the car is ready to go.
