Description
This is a Dieppe produced, full matching numbers and also matching color (Orange Acropolis) 1973 Alpine A110 chassisnumber #13743. Beginning 1990 the car has been converted into a group 4 to participate into the Historic MonteCarlo (roll-cage, short ratio 5 speed gearbox, Gotti’s, rallyinstruments, Lexan windows…). More importantly, as is indicated in the official Alpine Register the engine has been converted into a Gordini type 1440cc competition engine mirroring the works cars before the introduction of the 1600cc engine. The engine produce an estimated 132bhp. From 2003 on the car was rallied by Belgium rally pilot Louis Mast who further developed the car. After acquiring the car end last year the whole electricity was renewed, a new cooling system installed, new tyres (195x13 and 215x13), new Lexan sidewindows, new mudflaps, a revision of the gauges and so on. The car needs nothing and is ready for rallies, hillclimbs or just for trips on the road. A set of used semi-slicks comes with the car. The car is priced to sell, as I have bought another historic rallycar. As I am looking for a quick sale, the price is negotiable.
