Coconut the caravan
This 2 birth, Cheltenham Fawn, vintage caravan has been beautifully restored with tope coloured seats that can simply transition to a comfortable, double bed that will give you a wonderful nights sleep. They are finished by dusky pink, velvet cushions that compliment the woodland scene wallpaper affect, carefully chosen to feed the calming aesthetic throughout the caravan. There is also the original fold out table with deep storage draws strongly displayed as part of the loving characteristic of this 1969 Fawn. Although the lounging area is breathtaking, there’s more! A wonderful kitchen, located to the left of the stable door, is a key feature of why we love the Fawn so much. It is equipped with a vintage cooker, holding a hob, grill and an oven, it also contains the original sink, as well as essential storage that works brilliantly for all cooking tools. Both the fridge and entrance have been wallpapered however the door has been coated with a water resistant liquid making it stronger and easy to maintain in a kitchen environment. The stable door has an iconic stag head, highlighting the feature that all Cheltenham’s were named after a type deer (this one being the smallest of them all at 11 foot , known as the Fawn). Flooring has to be one of the hardest decisions of a renovation, but in this case, we knew just the thing, a small slatted wooden floor to honour our pride and joy of the Cheltenham, the beach wood table top, taken from a farm found in the south of England. The exterior speaks for itself; the blush and cream take your mind to the old English country side where this caravan calls home and the awning has been custom made by Karen Vintage canopies. We have made so many friends in the chapters of our caravan story, all of whom were fascinated by the 1969 architecture. This is a hard sell for me and my family but we are finally ready to continue our journey of glamping with something slightly bigger so me and my daughter no longer have to send my husband out to his dingy old tent. This caravan is perfect for someone in love with the vintage style or someone who is ready for some fantastic holidays and adventures. Happy glamping everyone!
