Description
Like so many motorcycle manufacturers, Favor started out making bicycles. There isn't a whole lot of information online, but I do have a French language book on the marque. The engine is a sidevalve J. A. P. and the gearbox a Birman made under licence by Staub. Likewise, the carb is a licenced AMAC by Gurtner.
I bought the bike as a project quite a few years ago and the dealer arranged delivery straight from France. It was advertised as running, but I've never tried to start it and it's just been sitting in storage, waiting for me to get around to it. I'm now downsizing my collection and can't see myself doing anything with it anytime soon, so it's time to offer it up to a potential new owner. I declared a rertropective NOVA on it, so it should be on the system and I did get a dating letter from the VMCC, accepting the 1929 date, which would make it Banbury Run eligible. The letter will be long out of date by now, so you'll have to obtain a new one before registering. The patina is fake by the way, the rust spots are painted on and much of the bike is clear coated.
