We are very pleased to offer for sale this extremely rare, family owned from new 1988 Mercedes 230 TE Estate with just 49, 000 miles, in truly exceptional condition throughout.
We really cannot emphasise enough just how clean & original this car is in every way with the most comprehensive maintenance record one could ever hope for & genuinely the nicest example we have ever been lucky enough to come across.
Supplied new on 02/ 04/ 1988 by Normand Mercedes in Bromley to a Mr Gambardella of Blackheath who retained the car for some 20 years & subsequently serviced the car with them for the first 10 years of its life & then began using a local Mercedes Benz specialist, Grove Motor Co in Swanley, Kent.
With some 26 entries in the original service booklet & a further 12 for additional maintenance such as brake fluid & coolant replacement, the majority of which is all documented with an invoice for each entry, the service history for this car can be described as nothing short of remarkable & certainly one of the most comprehensive we have ever seen.
In 2008 the car was then transferred to Mr Gambardella's Brother-In-Law on his passing, Mr Petrillo, also of Blackheath who continued to care for the car equally as well until 2021 when he decided it was time time to let it go.
Supplied with the car is the original V5 from 1988 & the original bill of sale for £25, 891 including the following manufacturers fitted options:

As one would expect for such a meticulously well maintained, low mileage car it drives entirely without fault, starts on the button, is still very responsive, goes through all gears smoothly & is fitted with 4 new matching tyres.
Supplied complete with all original owners manuals, fully stamped service booklet, display folder containing receipts for the majority of the service work, previous M. O. T certificates & all 3 original keys.
