Our Concorde is fully specified and at 7. 7m long is under the 8-meter problem of higher ferry prices and campsite restrictions. Also easy to dive, even the 5ft 5inch wife enjoys driving it.
We have owned several motorhome and the Concorde is by far the best build quality and has really been well thought out. Last owner purchased for the main dealer Southdown Motor Homes.
Being a UK spec vehicle it has correct 3 pin plug sockets and has not had to have all the other changes to imported LHD Concord’s.
It is just like your home on wheels. It has a duel operated Alde central heating and hot water system which you can set just like your home central heating. It even heats the garage.
It has full cream leather seats, double glazing with electric operated front screen roller shutter . All windows have black out blinds and fly screens. Fly screen on the entrance door as well.
Dometic air conditioning in the living space is a welcome in hot climates. The air suspension lowers to allow easy access for a motorbike to go into the massive rear garage.
It has self levelling jacking system allowing simple levelling and stability when parked.
We had a wi-fi roof antenna and internal router fitted to allow us to do video calling as well as watch Netflix. It has a solar panel with the Concord option of the upgraded electrical system and twin high amp habitation batteries.
Included is a Kamper Motor Rally Air Pro 390 XL awning which we had with our last motorhome. Never used it on the Concorde but adds an extra massive room for extra beds or a large lounge/ dinner from electrical supply socket from the side of the motorhome.
The garage is massive and we can easily get our Honda 125 scoter into the garage and still loads of room in there. The scooter rack and ramp comes with the motorhome.
The Oyster Vision satellite system has an automatic drop-down 22 inch TV in the lounge
Fitted with the Concorde multi-media system it has a Pioneer Avic F91 OBT Navigation system with touch screen monitor, separate radio with DVD/ CD & MP3 player (instead of standard radio) sound system with additional loudspeakers and subwoofer, a handsfree device for Bluetooth phone. The rear camera has twin vision, both for close up parking and long view like a rear view mirror when driving.
The kitchen has a Corrin worktop with an integral sink and useful Dometic waste bin. The mixer tap has a hose extension so can be pulled out and has a spray setting so great for cleaning veg. There is a three burner Dometic hob with a fold-down glass cover in excellent clean condition. There is a combination Dometic TEC tower 175 litre refrigerator with separate freezer with gas oven and grill above all with mirror finish.
The lounge does not have the transverse bed so gives more storage room and headroom removing that cramped feeling in the lounge area. The awning should provide the extra space when needed. It has twin swivel Captain front seats. Furniture in Lugano pear wood colour. Soft-look cream leather upholstery, light oak flooring with removable fitted carpets, upgraded led interior lights instead of halogen. Multi adjustable dining table, midi Heki opening roof light.
The bedroom is very large and comfortable with two single beds with a central mattress between. I am 6ft and still plenty of room. I could never fit in a transverse bed comfortably. The toilet door closes off the rest of the home so you have an on suite bathroom and shower. It is fitted with a 26 inch TV in the bedroom, which can be linked to the satellite system or run off a PC linked to the internal router system we had fitted so you watch your favourite films in bed.
It was delivered with the upgraded electrical power package, two 160 amp-hour AGM battery (instead of standard 90aH) with a 1500 watt sine wave inverter. Has a large solar panel on the roof with full electrical management system. I had a new engine battery fitted in Nov 2020 as wanted to make sure that would not let us down.
Outside it has 16-inch alloy wheels. The tyres have just been changed due to age. They are the correct Michelin tyres produced especially for these big motorhomes and not cheap. Electrically operated coach-style mirrors. External electrical power point. External gas connector for barbecue or heater. Fiamma 5. 5metre roll out awning. Gasflow twin bottles with bottle heating system for cold climates. It has a very small repaired chip in the bottom of n/ s windscreen and there is a very slight colour difference on the o/ s garage door and surround which might polish out.
It is fitted with a registered Cobra 1 Thatcham alarm and tracker system which will be transferred. It has the Concord briefcase with all English manuals and handbooks. Is fitted with a detachable tow bar with full electrics. Also comes with a brand new set of snow chains.
Pictured outside our villa in Portugal we rented for six months before we brought it back to UK in late June. We are selling as we have now brought a house in Portugal and will not be travelling again for a few years.
