1964 model in Smoke Grey in extremely good condition throughout.
Very hard to find these days with just 107 registered of which just 5 are from 1964 according to howmanyleft. co. uk.
Excellent interior with a couple of changes from standard - a rev counter has been fitted in place of the ashtray; the standard steering wheel has been replaced with an attractive woodrim wheel, the original wheel comes with the car. It has rear inertia reel seat belts. The headlining could do with being replaced. The seats and door cards are all in very good condition with no splits.
Mechanically in very good condition indeed. Pancake air filters have been fitted, but the original housing and intake are still with the car.
Rebuilt unleaded cylinder head and new head gasket. The company which rebuilt the head has confirmed that it's a Mini Cooper head and this is detailed on their invoice.
Some non-structural fettling to the bodywork (front wing, front doors) would take the car to the next level.
Although exempt due to its age, the car will be sold with a full year's MOT.
Comes with original handbook, brochure and lubrication chart together with a large history file of receipts, old MOTs etc.
Drives very well indeed and very perky. Extremely comfortable.
Selling only as I have too many cars for the storage available....
