The interior quality of these top of the range BMW’s is superb, with soft stitched leather covering the dashboard, seats and extends from the roof lining at the top, to the knee panel beneath the dashboard. The craftsmanship can be seen by the way leather upholstery is sewn and fitted, largely by hand, and even to the glove compartment and instrument panel are in leather.
Being the flagship of the BMW range the 635Csi Highline came superbly equipped including, front air dam with integrated spoiler, rear spoiler, ellipsoid headlights, green heat-insulating glass, laminated windscreen, chrome plated door sills, electric central locking, electric door mirrors, digital check control system, on-board computer, electric memory seats, heated mirrors, heated screen washer nozzles, service interval indicator, air conditioning, electric sliding/ tilting sunroof and a rechargeable torch which remains in the glovebox to this day!
