Mollie has been sympathetically restored from the bottom up. Initially shot blasted to show every potential problem, she has been carefully rebuilt with quality parts, primed and finished with a fresh coat of paint in pastel yellow and off white. She is tax & MOT exempt.
Full mechanical overhaul including a brand new VW Heritage SSP 1641 twin port engine with new twin webber carbs and exhaust system - sounds awesome and runs like a dream after being professionally tuned on a rolling road and has now covered less than 3000 miles since being fitted.
The gearbox has been overhauled and upgraded to freeway flyer providing a better ratio for modern roads,
New brakes (the whole system) discs on the front, suspension, tyres, wax oiled underneath. All new window and door seals, handles, linkage, winders, mirrors etc. We have a whole folder of job sheets, receipts and photo's showing everything that’s gone into her with over £37K being spent.
New modern pop top with gas shocks providing roof bed for two, fitted with a slimline 100W solar panel with Bluetooth app, leisure battery and 240V hook up.
On the inside no expense has been spared with a full internal refit including sound proofing, insulation, full headliner, newly trimmed cards, madmatz cabin carpet set, blast and painted fully reupholstered front seats with matching bed and new Rusty Lee ¾ rock & roll bed and matching buddy seat.
