It is a Beetle standard delivered in November 1951 by the British Military Administration (CCG / BE), Lippstadt fleet.

In addition to the usual equipment features such as cable brakes or the simple steering wheel, the car had the starter crank, which was no longer standard at the time, and was painted in matt military green.
The car was decommissioned in 1953 and has been privately owned for 21 years from then on.
The second civilian owner bought it in 1974 and apparently had less fun with the vehicle, which was already very antiquated at the time, which is why he probably traded it in at a VW dealership in 1975?
In any case, it has been exhibited there for over 40 years.
The dealer apparently did not want to present a patinated soul seller, which is why the Beetle was redesigned according to the taste of the time.
In addition to some sheet metal work and fenders from the oval beetle, the car was painted in the less military-looking moss green and an interior design with a new headliner.
In this state, the beetle slept through the following decades as a kind of time capsule.
The car was recently brought to life and is now in a very solid roadworthy condition with the blessing of the TÜV and approval for approval with H license plate.
The original 1st cardboard letter of the car is also available.
The mileage is read on the odometer and can not be guaranteed - who is surprised after 70 years :-)
