The Opel Rekord P2 was produced from 1960 to 1963
By the standards of European car manufacturers at this time, the range of body types was extensive
The top seller was the saloon / sedan in either two or four doors
There was also a three-door "Caravan" station wagon and a three-door van which were essentially identical to the station wagon except that the rear side windows were replaced with metal panels
This is an original built Caravan with rear seats which is extremely rare
The car is on the original parrot plates from 1962
Nice car but do not expect a glossy image
Note the car is assembled in Denmark at Opel's assembly plant in Copenhagen
