With the price of E30s going through the roof, E36s are surely the best way to get the small rear wheel drive BMW vibe.
Initially sold new by Vines of Sevenoaks to a Mrs Wilson from Sutton, the car was kept in the same family ownership for 20 years (transfer to husband’s name at some point).
The car was then sold to a Mr Isherwood from Bishops Stortford in October 2020 before I purchased it from him April this year when he’d just moved up to Scotland - a new job in car sales meant it was surplus to his requirements.
I have used the 318ti as an alternate daily for the last 8 months and it’s an absolute joy to drive. The 140bhp engine is quite a revvy thing and combined with a lowish 1200kg kerbweight, it handles beautifully.
Immaculate interior with brand new roof headlining fitted last month. New set of front brake pads and discs fitted in April this year.
Based on the condition of the car and few ownership numbers, I have no reason to believe the odometer reading of 68, 200 as anything other than genuine with old Test certificates dating back to 2012 confirming low usage. Current MOT until Feb 2022 however will put on new 12 months ticket before sale.
We’re just 10 mins off the A74(M) at Lockerbie and can organise to pick you up from Lockerbie train station (on West Coast main line) if preferred.
