Description

Here is my bmw 550i msport lci for sale, full fat 4. 8 V8 362 bhp, 120k miles on her, full service history, with the last one done about 2 months ago which included a full engine and gearbox using everything main dealer parts.
The valve stem oils seals were done in 2017 at 89k by bmw so obviously new head gaskets would have been fitted and I would have thought a new chain etc too, I have invoices for this and many other including the recent work.
It has 3 former keepers before me, I’ve owned it since December 2018 so nearly 2 years, in my ownership I’ve replaced the header tank due to a split, coolant pump and thermostat due to not running at the correct temp, osf wheel bearing, couple of other bits like track rod end etc and most recently the full service of the engine and gearbox.
I’ve also added the 19” wheels that are on it now along with two brand new Yokohama tyres fitted at the same time as the service, the fronts have Pirelli pzeros with decent tread.
I understand they won’t be to everyone’s liking so I do have the original bmw mv2’s that I can have refurbed if any potential buyer would prefer them.

Inside there is full black leather with heated electric front seats, full screen sat nav with updated disc, lane departure, voice command, cruise control, auto lights and wipers, it has adaptive xenon headlamps with upgraded white halo bulbs, everything electrical works as you’d expect.

The car drives fantastically, pull exceptionally well as you can imagine, the gearbox has a sport map to make the gear-changes a little crisper and dynamically the car handles like it’s 3 years old with no knocks or rattles.

The exterior is finished in a lovely shade of grey which I think really hides the cars age, being the 550i it also has the factory M aero kit.
There are some minor defects to the paintwork, I have tried to capture these in the photos, the front bumper, bonnet, wings and mirrors have factory PPF stone-guard fitted so I think the scratches on the wing and scuff on the bumper is only damage to the protective guard not the actual paintwork, I would rather keep the guard on rather than remove it to eliminate them as it’s done a very good job of looking after the front end through it’s life.

Overall this is a very well looked after and most importantly very well mechanically sorted example, with only reason for selling being a new house move.
