1985 VOLVO 740GL For Sale

Hello everyone.

Here fir sale is my 1985 volvo 740GL. Its had just 2 owners from new (myself being the second) and is in good condition for its age.

It's on 144000 miles however the speedometer has stopped working and therefore so has the odometer.
I'll start if with the not so great bits. Firstly the carburettor needs a good clean as it is a little boggy in the low revs, after around 2k revs it's as smooth as anything. Next the petrol filler flap is missing but I've been told it's an easy fix.

It's got minimal rust, under the engine bay I can't see any rust at all, the rear arches are both rust free, one of the front arches has signs if slight surface rust but it's not much at all, would just need a sand back and re paint.
The underside is very good. It has a tow bar for a trailer. Tyres are good all round. MOT until July 2022.

I have driven this car daily for over 6 months and it's not had any problems at all, it's fantastic on the motorway and very comfortable. This car gets lots of attention and smiling faces wherever it goes!

I will be very sad to see it go but due to a long distance move I need to sell him.
