An extremely rare opportunity to purchase a very early 1972 Kawasaki Z1
This example is in truly mint and award-winning condition having covered just 34 miles since being fully restored.
I was looking to keep this Z1 as it would extremely difficult to find another one with such a low frame number and in concours condition. However, I find myself having to sell this one and 3 others (Ducati 996 Foggy Rep, a genuine Honda VTR10000 SP2 Laguna Seca and a Kawasaki Z1000R Lawson Replica).
The very early sub 1, 000 frame numbered Z1's are the highly collectible ones to have and this is a 300 number bike.

Concours winning condition - won 1st prize at a VJMC competition
Frame number No: 37x (the last number x out)
Only 34 miles since being totally refurbished
All the correct date stamps
Correct cylinder head as the vac tubes are in the head (only the very early Z1s had these cylinder heads)
Date stamped wheels (they have been rechromed though to make mint as virtually all have now)
Correct carbs (many don't have them)
Correct speedo (again many have the later one fitted)
Exhausts are mint and not stamped (early ones were not stamped)
Chain oil tank present
Genuine 1972 handbook present
2 x genuine Kawasaki keys
Correct colour paint and mint
Matching engine and frame numbers (within 10 of each other which is well within the range of 200)
Black foam seat
V5 present
Comes with a 1972 K plate registration
USA bike in USA spec (some are a mix up of specs)
Dunlop Gold Seal tyres (original spec)
Currently, the Z1 is drained of fuel and the inside of the tank has been oiled to protect it due to it being winter and not being used.
There is 1 other for sale currently (which is very rare in itself). The motorcycle broker was selling one at £37, 000 (but now sold) and one on eBay at £30, 000 for sale. The £30, 000 does not have date-coded wheels, has an incorrect seat and rear mudguard as they are euro spec but it is a USA bike. It is a great bike though.
