For sale is my 1991 Nissan Figaro in Lapis Grey. I took this car on as a largely cosmetic restoration project and have gone a long way in restoring it to its former glory.
Professionally resprayed in the original colour in December 2021 with some areas taken back to bare metal and some large areas of peeling clear coat being the reasons for the work. Images of the car before the bodywork was done are available on request. Original bumpers have been replaced with a new stainless steel set, both front and rear, from Garage FK10 so the new owner need not worry about them ever corroding in the future. Rear light bezels have been refinished in gloss white.
Seats are in good condition and the interior is generally well presented. Carpet has been removed, deep cleaned and re-dyed so looks factory fresh. Brand new set of black/ grey stitch Figaro Shop mats. Mechanically speaking, the car is very sound and has no rust on the sills underneath. The timing belt was changed at 64, 000 miles and the engine runs excellently and the car drives well with no unwanted noises. New battery fitted in January 2022 and a new roof canvas in 2021.
The car comes with a clean MOT with no advisories until August 2022 and a comprehensive service history.
Unfortunately the original CD/ Radio requires refurbishment by Clarion as it is not working properly. The dash top also could do with re-covering as it currently has 2 cracks in the leather.
A change in my circumstances means regretfully I can no longer keep the car so she’s available to go to a new home. The mileage will continue to go up slowly from the current 131, 800km (81, 000 miles) as I continue to use her on weekends. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. Open to sensible offers.
