2000 BMW 540i M Sport
I purchased this car as a stop gap and covered approx 2000 miles in it in this time. The car had approx 85000 miles on it with just 3 owners from new and full service history. The service book has 13 stamps and was last done 10/ 09/ 2022 at 81901 miles. The tyres are very good all round as are the brakes.
The car was standing for the last 2 weeks or so and the battery died presumably from the cold weather! A brand new one has been fitted and the car fired straight up but unusually a slight rattle can be heard from the engine and a vibration when stationary and revved to between 1000 and 2000rpm but the car seems to drive fine.
Other than this the car does require a few bits of tlc. The passenger door opens from the outside but not the inside, the headlining needs glueing back down on the 4 pillars and both bumpers, N/ S/ R quarter, spoiler and mirror caps could do with painting as the paintwork has gone rough and crazed.
It’s an honest car which with a bit of love would make a lovely example especially with the low mileage, comprehensive service history and low owners.
