engine and gearbox are absolutely perfect with no oil or coolant usage, zero smoke and starts everytime. Engine mounts are all tight.
gearboxes changes are smooth with no crunching or whines. Has been on long trips to spain with no issues at all.
drives very well, mechanically perfect and starts first time.
very economical and cheap to run. (fuel/ tax)
interior is in good condition for age as expected, dont think the back seats have been used much at all.
everything works as expected and headlining is all intact no sagging.
underneath is absolutely solid with no common rot or rust issues, very clean rear end with solid subframes, fuel tank, jacking points and around the rear toe arms as per pictures etc.
front strut towers and slam panel are also solid along with bootlid floor.
still has the factory underseal from when it rolled out the factory back in 1992, again i have pictures.
as mentioned above mot history shows no signs of rust issues which is a rare sight and evident if you look underneath. and floorpan.
all original paint, rear arches are solid. Passenger rear has no rust, driver side rear has very minor scabs at the top with all original spot welds present.
sunroof has some scabbing which is common
fuel gauge is stuck on full, this seems to be issue with clocks which can be sorted. Car just gets fueled according to the miles on the trip counter
car is 27 years old so may have the odd mark etc
you will struggle to find a better example of an appreciating classic.
these are getting very rare now and remaining original ones are only going up in value especially in japan. These egs are very desirable as its fuel injection so not a lot of work needed to swap another engine in if desired such as a b series twincam or the ever popular k20 swap. (unlike carb engines which require alot of work and parts etc)
ideal for a honda enthusiast, an appreciating sought after classic in totally original condition, get a nice one while you still can. Would make a great daily.
