Description
Peugeot launched the 307 Coupe Cabriolet based World Rally Car in 2003 and the manufacturer competed in the World Rallying Championship for only two seasons with the car in 2004 and 2005. Car #5 driven by Marcus Gronholm achieved a podium finish on its first outing, finishing 2nd.
Along with car #6 driven by Freddy Loix, the 307CC WRC had a total of 3 wins and 23 podiums and was raced by private teams until 2010.
This was the last ever Peugeot to compete at the highest level of rallying and the only ever cabriolet based competitor.
To help promote the Peugeot 307 in the UK, Peugeot UK commissioned two Aden Red 307 CC 2. 0 models and registered them in the UK in September 2003. The two cars #5 & #6 were professionally converted to WRC replicas with no attention to detail missed.
The cars were extensively used for manufacturer events and promotions around the country and have been in covered secure storage since 2008.
With just 2759 miles on one car and 5259 on the other, both cars are like new and totally unique.
If you are a Peugeot fan or a World Rally Championship fan, these two cars are a perfect way to pay homage.
Exclusively rare, only two ever made to this specification with the 2. 0 Litre engine and like new condition. They represent the perfect opportunity to own a part of history.
Offers invited on either car. They must go.
