We are proud to offer for sale our stunning BMW R1100GS. This bike really does need to be seen to fully appreciate how well the previous owners have looked after this bike. It has only ever been ridden on the perfect days in the summer. The bike is as any BMW GS enthusiast will know, a joy to ride with the perfectly matched 5 speed gear box believed to be superior to the later 1150 which has a 6th gear overdrive.
Our example has covered just 10, 962 miles from new and comes complete with service history, the original untouched complete tool kit, hand book, road atlas, 2 system panniers, top box and 3 sets of keys. The bike will be supplied having been fully serviced and MOT'd prior to sale.
The R1100GS was the first for BMW to use Telever forks, oil cooling and eight valves with the engine giving chassis stiffness. The front large beak above the mudguard does have a purpose and was designed for down force at speed and to direct air to the oil cooler.
