Description
This Mk2 Ford Escort is a desirable modern classic, which has been rebuilt to Group 4 rally specification using a raft of high-performance upgrades.
Under the bonnet is a wet-sump 2. 0-litre Vauxhall C20XE inline-four fed by Weber 45 carburettors, now producing around 259hp, coupled to a Quaife straight-cut ‘Type 9’ five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The car was fully rebuilt in 2018, and also benefits from a recent engine retune and geometry setup.
