BMW E34 525i Sport Manual with 2. 8 engine conversion from an E36
This is a genuine Sport (on the logbook and spec on the build sheet)
The colour is Daytona Violet.
It is being sold as an unfinished project.
It starts and runs ok and will need some welding and other jobs to finish it to pass an MOT.
It is a tidy engine installation, with the loom tucked out of the way.
(with an old style M50 manifold fitted, it would look fairly stock under the bonnet).
2. 8 engine from an e36 with the correct sump and oil pick up, remapped ECU, EWS delete
All the dials/ clocks work correctly
The electrics work (lights, windows, sunroof etc), although the check control sometimes throws up a few weird and random ‘light/ bulb out’ messages occasionally!
Factory sport spec includes:
Body kit
Sport Suspension
LSD
Sport half leather and cloth seats
Black headliner
x4 elec windows
Electric sunroof (tilt and slide)
Power steering
Rare MOMO 17” Alloys and all tires have plenty of tread on them
New offside rear sill section welded in (see picture) I have the lower side skirt to go on, it’s just not in the picture so you can see the welding.
New radiator, fresh coolant and oil change recently done.
Front calipers have had new pistons, seals and slide pins,
Rear calipers have had new seals and slide pins
All the sunroof drains are clear
Seats are in very good condition with no rips or marks
It will need some paint/ repair to a dent in the rear nearside passenger wing (see picture).
The sunroof and a couple of other localised areas have some rust spots.
All 4 wheel arches are good (see pics).
There are a few other marks as might be expected on a 35-year-old car.

If you can’t be bothered to view the car, I can’t be bothered to deal with you.
(It would break for more than £5, 000 with the Momo alloys, sport body kit, sport interior, LSD, engine, cats, etc)
It is on a SORN and I have the V5 document in my name.
