Selling my beautiful BMW E39
One of the best cars ever made
I love the BMW e39 and consider it to be one of the greatest BMWs ever made and one of my favourite cars of all time.
The champagne II edition elevates the E39 higher than just one of standard versions. It looks and feels way more special. Effectively the last of the line e39s so all were registered in 2003 and limited to 150 cars. The production date for this example was 11th March 2003. All champagne II's were Sapphire Black metallic with style 37 M parallel 18” wheels. They came with the beautiful champagne nappa leather upholstery, a lovely light 'poplar wood' trim, further extended leather along the centre console (the only versions other than the m5s to have this), xenons lights, electric folding mirrors, auto-dimming rear view mirror, front & rear parking sensors, dual zone climate control and finally the comms pack of which consisted of the latest Mark IV DVD based SatNav, Professional HiFi including tape deck, 6 disc auto-changer, Bluetooth phone connectivity and TV. Auto lights & rain sensing wipers. They were all M Sports, so add to that sports seats, front and rear m sport bumpers, m sport suspension (m tech II), kick plates, anthracite headlining. (As with all the e39s, it's also got a first aid kit, tool kit & spare wheel etc).
(Please note, Champagne I edition models were slightly different from the II edition. Champagne I came previously in 2002, had brushed aluminium trim, standard lights, didn’t have electric folding mirrors, had the previous mark III CD based nav with sony ericson or motorolla phone but did get electric seats. There were 150 of these. There was also the petrol & diesel Aegean editions which were blue with silver grey interior).
This one has a very low mileage of 69, 400 so has the benefit of feeling really tight, it drives beautifully and wants nothing. It's had all of the weak points addressed and had £4k+ recently spent to make it one of the best examples mechanically & cosmetically.
Exterior & interior is excellent, one of the best. Recently had a full paint correction / enhancement with ceramic coating.
Everything works, even the digital TV. Bluetooth music streaming too (via the aux mode, so nothing interferes with the beautiful OEM look).
Brand new tyres all round, Michelin pilot sport 4s which in my opinion are the best.
