Fantastic fully restored Toyota Hiace LWB 2RZE 2438cc diesel Reimo pop top camper van.
2 berth pop top with cold water tank, waste water tank, stainless steel sink, twin burner cooker and grill, 3 way fridge - gas, 12v electric and mains hook up electric, removable table, plenty of cupboards, sealed gas cupboard with gas tank. Excellent Sony stereo with Alpine speakers. Separate clean porta potti toilet. Black out curtains and privacy glass.
5 seat belts with plenty of room for travelling in comfort. The bullet proof engine starts on the button, no overheating and no oil use. I have always maintained it well and it has never let us down. These vans just keep on going. Regularly change the engine oil, changed the coolant, no problems mechanically, so reliable with two new starting batteries fitted 6 months ago. There is also a large Bosch leisure battery.
All mains electrics work with the hook up and there are plenty of 13amp sockets.
The Toyota Hiace LWB camper is so much better than the VW equivalent of the time, so much more room and Toyota reliability. I get 40mpg which is fantastic economy and the miles just roll on by, a very comfortable ride.
The interior is in excellent condition with excellent original grey cloth upholstery.
The camper van comes with an awning and a separate tent awning that connects to the van and allows you to keep tables and chairs in etc as storage. The pop top has very strong gas struts and all the zips for the windows and fly screens work.
Overall there is nothing to do but to pick the keys up and off you go to make fabulous memories like I have done with my children.
I will put a 12 months MOT on the vehicle, it will pass with no problems.
