For sale:
1992 supercharged mazda mx5 mk. In neo green - perfect project. 90k miles. No rust and original arches and sills. Spot weds visible.
This is a jdm 1. 6 v-spec mk1 mx5. it was supercharged by the previous owner using a mini cooper s, m45 supercharger using the salon motorsport kit and a reduction pulley.
Chassis and running gear:
The chassis is in great condition. There is no rust on the car and it has not been undersealed. This means you can actually see the condition that it is in. It has not been out in the wintery weather. The gearbox works 100% with no noises, crunching or grinding. The clutch is a couple of years old with less than 2-3k miles on it. There is brand new meister r coilovers suspension on it which are brilliant. Really comfortable and wit. The lower ride height. Brakes are all in great condition wit. The new disks and pads all round.

interior:
The condition of the interior overall is good. The seats have been professionally refurbished and the tan leather has been conditioned. The original mats are still present and so is the very rare and sought after nardi steering wheel and gearstick. There are some marks on the dash and inner console but overall presents very well indeed. There is a aftermarket cd player with bluetooth and a recently updated instrument cluster speedo.
Exterior:
There is no rust on the car. As it was imported in 2006 - it hasn’t spent the normal amount of time on british wet and salts road. The wheel arches are near perfect and so are the sills. The car is completely solid and has had no work done to it. The genuine 14” wheels are also in good condition wit. The odd mark and curbing and all the tyres have lots of tread. The soft top roof is in great condition and is completely watertight. It was replaced less than 4 years ago. Glass heated rear screen also. The paintwork is one of the let downs of the car. An area where the car could be improved. Some panels have little to no clear coat and there is the odd dent here and there.
Engine:
It runs great and is quiet and smooth. The engine bay is very clean indeed. No rust. Since have the supercharger it is running quite hot. Nick (ex skuzzle motorsport) has seen the car and mapped it to be able to run well. He has suggested the work below;
1. Bigger injectors
2. Intercooler installed
3. Dual throttle body setup (current single throttle body has incorrect fitting)
However, once this work has been done. The car would be running around 200bhp and in perfect working order.
There is a genuine reason for sale as i am starting a new business and capital and space is needed.
Please note, the 14” daisy wheels will be also be supplied with the car.

This really is a solid, rust free honest mx5 mk1 that is close to being an unassuming 200bhp monster! Please check the mot history as it is very good with no mention of rust.
