Classic Car Design offers you this "flamboyant" Porsche 997 Targa carrera 4S from 2007. Certainly rare by its colour, it is perhaps unique by its configuration: a Targa equipped with the Tiptronic gearbox which benefits from the X51 option, the famous Porsche power-kit! The 3. 8 engine has 380 hp. To complete the equipment and especially to stop the cavalry, the ceramic brakes option has been chosen, recognizable by these yellow calipers...
On the outside, this 997 phase 1 is in very good condition. Typical of the model, we can appreciate the two roof arches underlined by the chrome mouldings. It has a really sporty look thanks to the well inflated fenders of the 4S and the superb 19" Classic Design wheels.
Inside, the "extended leather" upholstery is in perfect condition and shows very little wear despite being 15 years old! The general atmosphere is much brighter than in a coupé thanks to the transparent roof. The electric curtain will protect you if the sun gets too strong. The chrono pack is there to give a typical Porsche touch...
Mechanically, the Tiptronic automatic gearbox benefits from the steering wheel controls. It knows how to be dynamic as soon as you engage the sport mode and use it manually. It's a car with two faces, further enhanced by the PASM management of the damping and the sport exhaust. It works perfectly in every aspect. The car has been serviced regularly, as evidenced by its regularly stamped service booklet.
The 997 Targa is a more original 911 than the coupe and cabriolet versions. With its sisters 993 and 996 it shares this particular aesthetic and functionality. It offers a large, bright sliding glass sunroof with an opening that is unmatched by the sunroof option. This model adds the Indian red colour and the superb wheels which make it a Porsche that turns heads...
