We are proud to present our super rare 1098R in Rosso red having covered only 1, 174 miles. With it's beautiful design this example boasts flawless paintwork and really is a credit to its previous owner.
The 1098R was the last of the "proper" Ducati homologation specials being powered by the 1198 Ducati engine. These bikes produce a massive 180bhp using the race kit parts and full Termignoni exhausts , The instrumentation is a digital Moto GP derived unit and the suspension is Ohlins TTXR single rear shock with fully adjustable Ohlins to the front. The 1098R has true competition level traction control, Marelli electronic fuel injection, forged light alloy Marchesini wheels and a dry multiplate clutch. The ECU is reconfigured and mapped to suit the racing exhaust. This Ducati would take pride of place in any serious collection.
Our example comes complete with a Ducati performance open clutch, Carbon Termignoni Exhaust system (plus original also supplied) Carbon belly pan, original Ducati book pack and the bike will benefit from having a full belt service and MOT prior to sale.
