EXTERIOR
This elegant W12 presents in fantastic condition having just benefited from a full detail and machine polish. The paintwork has a deep lustful shine with only a few light stone chips to the lower edge of the front bumper and a couple on the bonnet and door mirrors. All of the chrome trims are in immaculate condition as are the plastic trims and rubber seals. Looking down the sides it’s free of scratches or parking dinks, the only imperfections worthy of note being a few small scratches to the centre of the back bumper.
INTERIOR
The cream leather interior remains in excellent condition with a nice soft matte textured sheen to the leather and only minimal where do the driver’s bolster. The dashboard and centre console are immaculate and free from scratches, as are the steering wheel and gear selector. The rear of the car is very opulent with masses of legroom and comfort for the backseat passengers. The cream carpets are all immaculate and it comes with the lambs wool overmats which have remained in first rate condition. The boot area is also pristine and free from any stains or loading marks.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Opening the bonnet reveals the mighty 6-litre W12 engine which looks as fresh as the day it rolled off the factory. Reading through the history file it’s clear that this example has always been maintained to the highest standards, and of course it drives exceptionally well.
WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
All of the alloys are in excellent condition with only a couple of minor curb marks to the edge of the rims. They are all shod in Pirelli PZero tyres, all of which have plenty of tread remaining. The car has just come back from a service and inspection and the brakes were found to be in fine working order with only minimal wear to the pads and discs.
HISTORY FILE
This lovely low mileage A8L W12 was supplied new by Carrs Audi in May 2005. It has now driven only 58k miles in the hands of just 3 registered keepers. Having always been well maintained the A8 is accompanied by full service history with 13 stamps in the original service booklet. The last service has just been carried out at the current mileage. The advisory-free MOT is valid until December 2022.
