UPDATE - AFTER MANY MESSERS..
Any swaps or p/ x interest on my TDI Jetta?
Could use something like a vw caddy pick up, or any sort of pick up.. classic beetle, v5 beetle sport anything considered as long as its roadworthy.. not looking to add money on top of mine ideally want a sale but house renovations make a pick up useful! Swap value 5k or will consider any p/ x against it.

1990 VW Jetta TX with 1. 9 TDI
Conversion Location: Bishops Stortford Hertfordshire. Always gets comments and appreciation! I don't really want to sell but needs must, I need the space and don't use it much other than on nice days and a few local shows. Come and take it away before I drive it again and change my mind! All P/ X considered not looking for a swap as could use the cash out of a deal (unless maybe it’s a caddy…)
12 Months MOT, with barely any miles done since. Fully registered as diesel, and with all mods declared I insure it for £200 a year. I've owned this car for 4 years and have spent thousands on getting it to where it is now. just over 100k on the shell.
I've been told the engine was on about 68k when put in so I'd suspect its similar or less than the shell now. It runs very well and I've always had it serviced and the cambelt has not long been changed as well as the oil and fluids. Mk3 vento AHU 1. 9 TDI on a mk3 golf subframe ecu etc. Power steering and mk3 GTD bigger disc brakes up front. 5 speed manual box. Good clutch and flywheel. OBD harness and port located in the cabin. Believe it has harder engine mounts fitted.. so there is some vibration at idle but it isn't noticeable when driving. Its got a bigger turbo on it and pulls extremely well, whilst still achieving approximately 60mpg. Not your usual low and slow! This thing pulls really well! Hard pipework to mk3 intercooler mounted in battery location. Uprated battery and cabling, relocated to a battery box in the boot. Ram Air cone filter fitted.
All the front suspension components were replaced in 2019 - I had all new front suspension wishbones, tie rods and bushes fitted as some fool fitted standard golf ones when I bought it and it was undrivable. This was done at a local VW specialist at great expense with receipts to prove. I sourced the 15inch BBS RA's and they had just been refurbed when I bought them. They are in perfect condition with all matching Toyos on them with loads of tread. BBS dust caps and red centre caps. Look stunning with the gold graphics! Lowered on coilovers, it looks great but it is low and the ride is FIRM.
It had a golf front end on when I bought it, so I sourced all the Jetta components and swapped it back, brand new front 3 slat grill, blacked out badge and turbo diesel grill badge. New 16valve splitter fitted. Original small pumpers with red striping, I believe it has the bigger GTI plastic arches and as far as I'm aware the car is NOT rusty beneath them. Smoked depo front indicators, side repeaters. Resprayed prior to my ownership and it was a pretty good job, the car is as smart as it looks in the pictures. Not perfect, there are some marks and dings but still very good. TX spec originally, so it has grey cheque interior which is in good condition, no holes. Carpet is tidy with no holes and I've fitted brand new black carpet mats. Green tint factory glass all in good condition. Corrado leather steering wheel fitted and mk3 golf ball gearknob and brand new leather red stitch gear gaiter. This is not a rustbox, its very clean and solid bodywise. It was thoroughly undercoated a while ago and I've never driven it through winter in my ownership. There'll be loads more I've likely forgotten about! Best viewing in the metal! I've spent literally thousands since owning it the last 4 years, with receipts for all the work I've had done.
