For sale is our cherished AJS Model 22 Twin Port. First registered in 1939 the bike comes the original registration document, original sales receipt, range of historic MOT’s and Tax disks. It also has an AA insurance document from the period. Also present is the current V5 document in my name.
The bike has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration by the previous owner whom diligently restored all aspects of the motorcycle including an engine rebuild and a full bike respray.
The bike starts first kick and runs really well. Oil return is good and consistent. It selects all gears and drives well for a pre WW2 bike. It is not been used and shown as much as it should and has only ever been used on dry Summer weekends and shown at shows. It really deserves to be shown more often and ridden by an enthusiast. Whilst the restoration is older and not now concourse, it is really a fantastic bike in excellent condition.
This is an opportunity to own a rare classic in great condition, this bike will only appreciate in value with time. We are not desperate to sell and will happily hold on to the bike unless the asking price is met.
