Exceptional car, 5-Cylinder engine, manual gearbox. To find a B3 Audi 90 model such as this is extremely rare and this is probably the most original example available for sale today. An Audi of this vintage is for someone who really appreciates the nature of it, the class leading build quality, the longevity of the materials used in the manufacturing process (such as a fully galvanized body) are absolute top quality, a very well-engineered package and a unique driving experience.
The mechanicals in this model are very robust and sweet running and this with such a very low mileage the engine has lots of power and feels barely run-in, the engine bay presents very nicely and without modification. The Audi 90 was a step above the Audi 80 at the time in terms of both quality and price and correspondingly rare. Finding one today is difficult — and locating an unmolested example is near impossible.
Fitted with the legendary 5-cylinder engine mated to manual gearbox, this example is reported as being garaged its whole life (and stored as such since 2006) consistent with the preserved condition of the factory Panther Black Metallic paintwork and with the underside in superb condition along with original front and rear supplying dealer plates. The optional (£526) manual sunroof is fully operational in both slide and tilt modes. Wheel trims are unmarked.
