Lotus Esprit 1986, 2. 2 (non turbo). Current genuine mileage 21673 miles. One owner from new, was originally registered through the owners company then transferred to his own personal ownership but only ever driven by the owner.
Purchased new from Belfast in 1986 and regularly driven before being stored. Initially stored outside before undergoing a respray in original red before then being stored in a garage. Car then remained stored in the garage for approx 15 years until late 2021 where the car underwent a full mechanical overhaul at a local classic restoration specialist. No expense was spared with the engine taken out and a full list of works can be provided but include, fuel system (both tanks function), clutch, full brake overhaul, steering rack, electrics, and suspension. This also include a full service with all fluids and belts replaced. Excellent oil pressure.
The exterior would benefit from small improvements to the chrome and paintwork to bring it up to show standard. The interior is also in excellent condition but does show some signs of wear given the age of the car. It maintains all its original features including BBS alloys and original head unit even right down to the recommend running in process sticker on the front windscreen.
The car is in excellent mechanical condition and with some light improvement to exterior and interior would really set it off. Ready to be driven again and enjoyed. Car is located in Magherafelt, County Derry with Belfast International Airport only 20 miles away.
