This is a 1967 AMC Rambler Convertible LHD finished in white with a blue interior and 80, 000 miles on the clock.
Formed in 1954 by the merger of Nash-Kelvinator and Hudson, American Motors Corporation marketed its cars under the 'Rambler' name from 1958 up to 1966 when they became 'AMC'. Prior to the merger, Nash has been making the enormously successful Rambler compact, which became the 'American' when Rambler was adopted as the marque name in '58. For 1967 there were three trim levels in the Rambler American line-up, at the top of which sat the Rogue. Two body styles were available for the Rogue: a two-door hardtop coupe or two-door convertible. Six-cylinder engines were the standard offering on the Rambler American series, with various V8s optional.
This barn find has a 3. 8?litre straight?six engine. It was registered here in the UK in June 1967 and although how long it has been off the road is uncertain, it was put back on the road in early 2021 and passed an MoT without advisories, which was valid until February 2022. It received new front and rear brakes at the same time, as well as a new distributor cap, rotor cap, plugs and battery. The car runs and drives.
