OVERVIEW
This rare 1968 AMC AMX was comprehensively built for the 2016 Peking to Paris Motor Challenge, one of the toughest endurance rallies in the world.
Stripped to a bare shell and re-engineered over three years, the result is “Geen Remmen” (Dutch for “No Brakes” or “No Limits”)—a purpose-built, long-distance rally car that blends muscle car power with serious off-road capability.
Over £250, 000 has been invested in its build and development (excluding event entry and logistics), with every system carefully considered for reliability, serviceability, and performance.

WHAT DO WE THINK?
The car is in excellent mechanical order and has recently undergone further prep work.
However, as with any competition vehicle, potential recommissioning and pre-event fettling should be expected before it embarks on another rally. A few final parts are also awaited from the U. S. to complete minor jobs.
