Volvo 240 GL Automatic
This is a very original car that has been meticulously maintained throughout its life. I have a big stack of paperwork with detailed notes and invoices detailing the previous owners ownership.
When I bought the car it had been sat for a couple of years because the owner had become too old to drive. I performed some light recommissioning work including some small corrosion repairs, 5 new tyres (also had the wheels sandblasted and powder coated at the same time), engine service and rear brake rebuild (because it came up as an advisory on the MOT).
Very few issues on the MOT, underseal was mentioned because the previous owner had the underseal maintained every year (steam clean and reapplication was part of the annual maintenance).
It drives wonderfully, a very leisurely drive as you might expect. I have completed around 1000 trouble free miles in it since purchasing.
The body cleans up very well but there are some imperfections, such as some light corrosion at the base of the near side A pillar and in the arches.
Highly recommend that you come take a look, evenings and weekends are best for viewings.
