In 1972 the candy orange H1-B with point ignition, front diskbrake and colored fenders was manufactured. However, several point ignition models in classic look with drum brakes and stainless steel fenders were made as well, this being one of them. This model is unofficially called H1-C. It is quite a rare and collectable machine.
The engine has been overhauled carefully. The enginecasings, cylinders, cylinderheads and carbs were meticulously cleaned by wetblasting, crank, gearbox and cilinder reconditioned, all seals renewed. The clutch was modified with a redesigned clutch release and pusher mechanism of Ralf Gille. All oil lines were mounted with special seals.
The frame has been stripped and powder coated. The steering lock cam on the headstock was strengthened. All chrome and zinc parts professionally replated. The original candy orange paintwork is a piece of art, the fueltank internal was sealed with a special coating.
The speedo and tacho gauges are the original Nippon Seiki ones.
The fitted new parts are too many to mention. A short list of some of them:
• Frontfork inner tubes and guides, dust and oil seals
• Reproduction seat
• Wiring loom and battery
• Steering switch assembly
• Carburettor rubber airinlet assembly
