Here is my GTM coupe for sale.
Need to sell soon, any sensible offers accepted.
Originally bought last year as a project but have just purchased another project and i am losing storage space.
The car passed its last MOT in 2021 and was taken off the road for some light restoration.
In my ownership i have fixed most of the electrical issues, redone the rear light wiring, rebuilt the carburettor, changed the oil and cleaned the interior.
The car has a few issues which are listed below.
Bodywork and paint is not great, will need a respray and attention.
Speedo and fuel gauge are not working.
Small oil leak from the gearbox when the car is up to temperature.
Syncro for 2nd gear is on its way out.
The car is solid and has no rust on the floors. I have a spare gearbox and dashboard i intend to sell with the car. I also have a sizable chunk of paperwork including an original build book listing all the parts on the car, blueprint drawings of systems on the car and period adverts for GTM coupes.
If you are unsure what these cars are, it is a kit car that is made mostly out of mini parts. It uses a custom tub chassis with mini subframes on the front and rear, and uses the standard mini engine and gearbox mounted in the middle behind the driver. This example has an A+ series engine from a metro.
