With only 1750 coupes produced worldwide this limited-edition Trams Am 25th Anniversary is an exceptionally rare car, especially in the UK.
Distinguished from the more common Trans Am GT, the Anniversary was only available in bright white with a bright blue centreline stipe and sat on specific 16 inch five spoke white aluminium wheels with anniversary badging on the centre caps and rear hatch.
The interior specification was also exceptionally high and featured white leather seating with 25th Anniversary embroidered logo, cruise control, air bags, adjustable steering column and a delco sound system with 7 band equalizer and 10 speakers.
Powered by the ubiquitous and powerful 5. 7 Litre V8 producing 275bhp and 325ft-lbs of torque this wonderful sounding engine propels the Trans Am on to a top speed of 152mph whilst the quarter mile could be covered in just 14. 2 seconds.
Fitted with removable glass T Tops, this is an American classic that can be enjoyed year round with wind in the hair motoring in the summer, and a snug warm cabin in the winter.
Released in 1994 to celebrate 25 years of Trams Am production this car was originally registered in California and stayed with its original owner for the next 24 years. During this period the car covered just 56, 656 miles and amassed 24 service inspections and always passed it emissions checks.
Looking through the Carfax report and paper work that accompanies the car, it is apparent that the original owner cared for the car with diligent maintenance from new which is no doubt why the car drives and presents so well now.
In 2018 the car was imported by it’s one and only UK custodian who has continued to cherish the car covering just 4350 miles since taking ownership.
