Classic Car Design offers you this superb Citroën Traction 11B limousine. It has been fully restored by its penultimate Spanish owner. He took the opportunity to add some personal touches. Since its import in France in 2017, it has only covered a little more than 1200 kilometres, it went out regularly but little. A small file of invoices and photos retraces some of the work that has been done since the late 1990s.
On the outside, this "malle bombée" Traction looks good with its two-tone paintwork! The grey and burgundy tones are enhanced by the chromes: the bumpers, the grille and accessories such as the light trims, the additional headlights, the fender "Robri"... The paintwork is of high quality and despite its age, it has very few defects. The work of the body painter is to be commended.
Inside, the upholstery is superb. It has been entirely restored. It looks like new, you have the impression that nobody ever sat there! Usually a bit austere, the atmosphere here is bright! Note the yokes on the doors which give a more modern touch. On the floor, the carpets and upholstery are just as good, as is the roof lining.
Mechanically, you only have to lift the bonnet to understand that the restoration has been complete. This is confirmed when you drive the car: the engine is vigorous and hums well, the gears shift well and remain well locked. The handling is good and the braking is excellent: it is improved by the addition of a little assistance.
This is another car that just needs to be driven, there are no costs to be expected. It is also the ideal car to transport newlyweds! The rear space is immense and the car looks great! So if you feel like a master driver, take the opportunity to drive this iconic car in its limousine version...
