Austin Healey 100/ 4 BN1 1955. Ex US car imported to Australia by The Healey Factory and then was the subject of a 4 year total nut and bolt restoration by Healey specialist Colin Groom of Sydney. During the restoration it was upgraded to M Specification including H6 carburettors, cold air box, louvered bonnet and leather bonnet strap. The engine size was increased to 2800cc and fitted with flat top pistons, Dennis Welsh aluminium cylinder head and performance exhaust system.
272 UYT is finished in Colorado red with tan trim, red boot and rear deck trim. Fitted with front and rear telescopic shock absorber kit, 4 speed BN2 gearbox, high torque starter motor, alternator, electric cooling fan, electronic distributor, front disc brakes, wood rim steering wheel, chrome wire wheels and period style radio.
