This early, Home Market, fuel injected CP TR6 received a nut and bolt restoration in the late nineteen nineties by Faversham Classics in Kent to its original specification, having been off the road since 1978 when it was impounded by the Customs and Excise!
It was purchased by a local enthusiast in 2002 who has used and cherished the car ever since, covering over 30, 000 miles and maintaining it with a comprehensive service program using local specialists. Everything is detailed and invoiced and recent work includes a thorough overhaul of the fuel injection system in 2018 and a new radiator, a new alternator and a complete strip and rebuild of the gearbox in May 2022.
All of this work is detailed in the history file and there MOT certificates for the last twenty years along with a Handbook and a Heritage Certificate confirming the specification and that the Triumph is a matching numbers car.
The TR6 is in its original Jasmine yellow with a black interior (the seats are now leather), and comes with painted wire wheels, a wind deflector and an overdrive gearbox.
It remains in fine condition having been used and cared for so meticulously over the years.
