Description
Reluctant sale of my much-loved VX due to lack of use. Car serviced Sept 2021 and is MOT'd until September 2022. Colour is Black Sapphire (Lotus code B93) with black leather interior. I am the second owner and have had the car for 15 years. Mileage sat just shy of 63, 900 miles. Full-Service History - including toe links/ brake hose replacement. Maintained by MMG Performance for 10 years and then PJS Lotus for the last 4 years. Feel free to ask them for an honest opinion of this car. Wheels have refurbished at 63300 miles in OEM silver and are in perfect condition. The car is fitted with the correct, manufacturer recommended, Bridgestone Potenza tyres all round, with plenty of tread remaining. Two sets of keys, soft top bag and all original documentation and receipts available. Note, one of the keys no longer appears to work the alarm/ immobiliser (this sometimes happens when the vehicle battery runs out). A new battery has been fitted. Replacing this is no mean feet so you can thank me later! Car remains visually standard apart from body coloured front V, windscreen surround and diffuser. Number plate included. Modifications - MMG ECU Stage 1. 5 remap (removing turbo flat spot)TAT rear diffuser, original OEM diffuser will be sold with the car, Gaz Gold Pro adjustable steel bodied suspension all round, S2 Elise black windscreen surround, Mintex 1155 brake pads, Braided brake hoses, Uprated engine mounts and anti rattle door pins. Known issues -Small patch of wear on driver's right hand seat bolster reflective of age and mileage (see photos). Radio (original unit) can be a little unreliable. In common with most VX220's the paintwork has the usual stone chips located towards the front end of the vehicle and the leading edges of the turbo intakes/ ears. There is also a small amount of unbroken osmosis between rear boot lid and spoiler, again, very common to the VX (see photos). A few other blemishes here and there as you might expect on an 18 year old vehicle. Fortunately, these have absolutely no bearing on how much fun this car is to drive and how much attention it still gets. Just please don't buy it if you don't have a garage to store it in! I have done my utmost to look after this car as best I can. It has resided in a garage for most of it's life, rarely goes out in the rain (rarely goes out!) and is washed with care using the 2-bucket method and a lambswool mitt. I'm happy to take you out for a test drive but won't be allowing you to drive.
