I’m selling my Mk2 cooper which I purchased in 2015 the mileage then was 96000k. This is a 1967 early car painted in island Blue with cream roof. The Mini comes with good history, also a full half page write up of it's condition and originality done by the weekly classic paper. The Classic car buyer” in 2004, the minis recorded mileage then was 92699.
Later in 2011 the cooper had a full body rebuild and repaint. Shortly after the car was fitted with modified 1300 Gt engine with a S head, this was a fully rebuilt unit with a replacement 4 synchro gearbox.
Invoices indicate, this engine had a complete rebore , re-ground polished crank, new pistons/ big-ends, fast road camshaft, Twin 1 1/ 2 su carbs, RC40 exhaust , larger style brakes and a correct servo .
This Mini also has a RH tank fitted. After all this expense, this car remained virtually unused until I purchased it and stored the car until 2021 with hardly any milage done. Last year in December, I had the car thoroughly tested on the rolling road for around four hours, there power curve result was 84 BHP which you can really feel when driving the Mini.
Still in very nice order throughout, inside is still all original and in very nice condition. Drives very well, always starts on the button.
Ive priced the car at a very reasonable price.
