Description
This car is in very original condition and has done 45000 miles since new. It was garaged for over 20 years before being purchased by Jonathan Bevan, grandson of George, from whom I bought it in 2015.
I have fitted a 998cc engine, originally built by George and used by me in my modsports Davrian. The engine has been totally rebuilt by Stuart Brownsey at Rodwell Motorsort and produced 102bhp on his dyno, fitted with an R20 cam. The gearbox was rebuilt by Malcolm Anderson and Quaife 3rd and 4th c/ r gears fitted.
New parts fitted include lightweight clutch/ flywheel, Radtec Radiator with electric fan, water pump, driveshaft couplings, Laminova oil cooler, front disc brakes, Yokahama A539 tyres, Maniflow inlet/ exhaust, Gaz suspension units. Wiring/ pipework renewed. Twin 40 Webers totaly refurbished.
Interior is in excellent original condition. The body is in it's original Balmoral Grey paintwork. It is the only item not refurbished and has been touched up and there is a line dent in the n/ s door, caused when the garage it was stored in for 20 years fell down! The bodywork is in excellent, rust-free condition.
